Our conference table collapsed on us during a meeting. Luckily no one was really injured although one woman had it land on her knee.

We have suspicision that one of our very passive aggressive employees did this, but have no proof.

Seriously, if you're that unhappy, wouldn't you just quit?

Does anyone have any other examples of disgruntled employees in the workplace?

Thanks in advance!

LOL...

It's kind of nice to know everyone's not a scared, bootlicking pansy these days...

Anybody at that table happen to be a pathetic weasel who gets off abusing other human beings when circumstances seem to allow? Pretty common these days... They won't always get away with it... Coulda' been worse...

If you screw with someone while they're just trying to make a living and survive... That's a pretty serious thing... yet people don't expect consequences...

We had one employee who had a terrible fight with her "Boss" because he told her that she could not come in and leave when she wanted, and not show up for days; she was given a 2 week notice of termination (which was very generous of him under the circumstances). She repaid him be re-filing all of the important contracts and correspondence by using the Greek alphabet. It took weeks to refile every thing. Not funny! but true!!!

One time when I worked at the newspaper, our maintenance guy didn't show up for work one morning. We had to start all the machines by ourselves and everything. Somehow, he'd rigged the copier where every page that came out of it had "**** You" really tiny in the bottom left hand corner. It was sort of funny, but it cost the company money to get the machine fixed.

With some people, merely quitting is not enough. They want to drag others down with them.
No, I don't have any examples. I hope I never see anything like that happen. I'm sorry it happened to you.
