I think some people prefer cricket because it's like a dumbed-down version of baseball that anyone can play. Compared to the mentally and physically difficult game of baseball, cricket is a walk in the park that even morons (like the asker of this question) can easily grasp.
Baseball is the thinking man's game. Cricket, not so much.

It all depends on what you grew up with. I spent my summers as a kid going to Texas Rangers games and hearing my grandfather tell stories of his time playing baseball as a kid. This helps explain my love for the game. I did not grow up with Cricket, so I would probably ask why baseball is so much better. If I had grown up with Cricket, however, I would probably view it like you. That is not a negative comment, just a statement based on what I have seen from people who grew up following other sports (i.e. soccer, rugby, etc.)

It's not, it's just your opinion.
You are asking a rhetorical question based on your opinion and attempting to get concurrence.
You would get concurrence from people that feel the same way that you do but none from people that don't.
You are better off to say "I feel that baseball is boring and cricket is better". ("more better" ruins your credibility right off the bat)
However, if you said that, it's no longer a question. You may want to surf over to http:///statements.yahoo.com. There is a particular section for this type of question.
opinionatedstatements.yahoo.com
When you post your question there, you may be further directed to noonecaresaboutyouropinion.yahoo.com
There you should get the concurrence you are looking for.

Why is your grammer so atrocious?
Baseball is a game of great potential; a game of great anticipation. It is a game of highly refined specialized skills. It is poetry in motion - a symphony of speed, strength, balance, and patience. No other game in the world requires the level of talent and ability that baseball requires. How can anyone question the greatness of baseball?
Cricket is a bunch of snotty limey's in feminine attire, swinging a canoe oar, and sipping tea! At least European football (soccer) and rugby take some skill and talent and are somewhat entertaining... for the first 20 minutes.

Before you bash a genuinely good sport, how about learning how to word a sentence. Are you 8?
Cricket sucks. The proof? It's ******* cricket.

Sorry but you must be a little dull. Baseball is a mental game. You must be thinking at all times. You must be very smart to play baseball. Maybe you should go play basketball where all you do is throw a ball into a hoop without any thinking involved.
