It's completely harmless and may be beneficial if your eating habits are a little sub-par. Vitamins are no substitute for eating right, but they are better than not eating right with no vitamins, and even people who have a fairly good diet can have deficiencies due to food being raised on soil that is depleted or some method of processing/storage that reduces vitamin content.
I think Centrum or a similar multi-vitamin makes good sense as nutritional insurance. I've taken one my entire adult life, although I try to eat sensibly too.

Probably, but the vitamins you get from a good diet, rich in vegetables and wholegrains, are much better for you than a supplement. Supplements should be short-term solutions while diet change is implemented. A supllement will do nothing if you are already getting the vitamins form your food. Hope ethat helps@

Centrum won't injury you till you have some underlying well being issues. Centrum is fairly not as good in specific components as another supplements. seek for suggestion out of your loved ones well being care provider and ask him what he recommends. i in my opinion take a 4 hundred IU diet E and 1000 mg diet C each and every morning alongside with calcium.

short answer no it can work in oppisite ways by stunting ur growth if u stop or becoming reliant on them... dont be fooled by the ads on tv... make sure you eat servings of meat bread and vegetables... a great guide is the healthy pyramid which you should be able to find on google... and that will provide you with plenty of vitamins.. if you are concerned you arnt getting enough viatamins get a blood test and they can check out if you need suppliments.. such as iron or calcium... but besides that you shouldnt take them just for the sake of it. you body is in its peak.. if you have more questions pm me or you can easily ask a health teacher at school

With the eating habits of today's youth any good multi vitamin taken once a day is a great habit to be in. It isn't a substitute for a balanced diet, but it won't hurt him.

A healthy 15 y.o boy should not be taking any vitamins unless ordered by your pediatrician. Excessive vitamin intake can lead to serious medical problems in both pediatric and adult patients. Check with your MD first.

It is OK if you just take the recommended dose on the bottle.
It is also completely unneccessary if you have a good diet.
