I required his presence interior the delivery room. If he had began to pass out or something comparable i'd have excused him from the room so i ought to concentration on what i became into doing, in any different case his presence became into necessary. thankfully, it wasn't a controversy. the guy i assumed would be dwindled confronted on the pinnacle of the mattress ended up down with the nurses preserving considered one of my legs for the period of the pushing point reminding me to respire :). He has finished that with our first 2 and that i understand he will returned with this one. It has not affected our intercourse existence interior the least. appropriate to the intercourse throughout being pregnant, i understand that couples can get freaked out approximately harming the baby. many times it is the guy stressful approximately it extra beneficial than the lady. I recommend having him pass to the subsequent well being care provider's appt and discussing this with them so as that they'd recommend and positioned those fears to kick back. My husband voluntarily stopped eating as quickly as I became pregnant. He had a lager at times, yet is now on drugs that would not be mixed with alcohol. i think of the guy could quit doing such issues whilst their spouse/better half is calling forward to. there is not extra suitable time to initiate preparing for being a be certain. Quitting whilst she remains pregnant not basically shows which you help her, yet which you additionally are waiting for the stressful circumstances of being a in charge father.

My husband was not in the delivery room. And I would never permit such a thing.
Intimacy has boundaries too....
Fiction: He is in the delivery room?? Yes I call him all the names you could think of and plea the doctor to get him out at once otherwise I would not give birth to the child.!!!

My sister-in-law was a DES baby and couldn't have kids of her own so, we asked her to be the back up Lamaze coach and when the time came we surprised her and let her stay in the delivery room so that she cold experience the birthing as much as possible...
The episode on "Night Court", in the stuck elevator was my favorite.

My kids are from the time when the husband waited in the waiting room. I don't understand how women can do that. It hurts so darn much that I wouldn't have had the breath to scream AND it takes two to tangle!!!

I was alone when my first was born, so that never happened.
They wouldn't let my husband in the room with me when my baby was born because there were some serious complications and the doctor thought I might die, but he didn't tell us that. He told my husband to go wait in the hall and he'd send someone for him when it got to be time and then just never did.
I cried. I wanted my husband with me. I was scared. I don't think I've ever loved that man more than when I was in labor.

I don't even think about that because I almost died when my daughter was born and all I remember before I lost consciousness was the horrified look on his face. I lost so much blood that I ended up in a coma for 3 days.

no and I didn't scream at all. And we didn't have epidurals in the olden days, either. But then I was in labor a grand total of 3 hours, both kids put together...
