First of all it is not true that world is going to end in 2012 it may take some more 100 or more than it to end
only GOD knows
so don't think of it
other than this whenever the world ends no one can prevent it because we all have to die and the world should be vanished so then comes the judgement day.

I don't believe a word of it. Remember what happened at the end of 1999? Nothing. No doom, no destruction. The worst thing was the hangover on the first day of 2000.

What makes you think the worlds is going to end in 2012? The sun is only close to being half way done with it's Helium/Hydrogen and the earth seems fine.

HOPE NOT! Hey wasn't the end of the word in the 1800's ,1900's year 2000 etc. ad nauseum!!! The bad guys won't get us yet! Here's to the good guys working to turn the world to the better..... Time for more cuddles with my dogs, coffees with my friends, arguments with family (but i love them) and movies, ice cream, chocolate...... AND admiration for those who walk the walk instead of just talk the talk to fix what man has abused, mistreated and disprespected. GO GET EM! and leave the negativity behind.

I think it is the end of the world as we know it!:o) And unfortunately there isnt much we can do about it. Its too late now. But no worries, new life-forms will spring and spread life once again on our planet. But in case we survive, I doubt that earth can handle anymore this mistreatment and disrespect by the humans. We will end up annihilating our planet.

No that's the Mayan calendar run out date like they could predict the future. Actually the end of the world is Feb 2008. That's when my dog calendar from Barnes & Noble ends.

Why worry when u can enjoy the present
Nothing would and can cause these type of predictions to come true for all parts of the world
And even if by a fluke chance, it does, even then why fret

Many people predict financial calamity by that age, and the peak-oil people say that energy shortages will become crippling in that time-frame. With $5.00 gas being talked about this summer, I am loath to discount them out of hand, but then the ages have seen many a Chicken Little.
