No, the wife is not a slave by any means! I have my kids help out as much as they can. The rest totally up to me! I know how you feel love it ain't ever easy and there are days you want to cave. But if we did that nothing would get done, our world and their world would stop! We have to push through it to move to the other side, and hopefully to some peace that awaits us.

If you are a slave to your family - you have made the choice to be a slave to your family. If you are happy in that role - celebrate it! If you are miserable - make changes!
Strangers aren't going to love you. What's most important is that you love yourself!!

When you get married and have kids ,that is what exactly happens.You become a slave.
I saw how my mum and aunties did it.So I knew it was not going to be Rosey all the time.
We all get a bit depressed about it sometimes.
But I wouldnt have it any other way.

I hear ya, this morning I told my just turned 18 yr old son to pick his clothes up out of the floor and put them where they belong, cause today is laundry day and I wasn't gonna go around and pick up clothes off the floor, his excuse was Mom I'm getting ready for college, I told him again and he gave me the same reply. Then I said you've been getting ready for college your whole life. He picked them up tho. grrrrrr!! I just hope one day I'm appreciated before I'm dead and gone!

Don't let yourself become a slave to them. If they don't help, refuse to do anything and let them do it for themselves. It's not right for them to walk all over you.
