im 16 and a crossdresseer i would love to be a female one day and well i know im a boy but in my head and hart i belive am a female.......know i like girls but duss this make me gay or straight because i look male outside but i fill female inside......hmmmmmmmmmm?

iv dressed well since i can remember and allways felt this way iv just resently fort about this guestion lol :)

lol :) and i am christian well i dont go church much but i still am and i am who i am and proud that i know who and what i want to be bbecause larst few yhs from 13 to 15 i was realy frown of corse with wot i want to be but i am 100% persent happy with what my destion is and when im over 18 and hav adesnt amout of money 2 suport me frew male to female surgery because that is what i would like oneday

i know im a trangender and yes you may fink im just 16 but its not a week or months destion iv allways wanted to be female i personly count my self as female :) and proud 2 be one exept being stuk in a males body :( it sukz

It makes you a Trans Gender. Female born in a male body. But at 16 you need to take a step back because your hormones are all over the place anyway. Why don't you phone Gay/Lesbian helpline and have a good chat to some one in the no.

You summed it up with one of your responses when you said I AM ME! Too right - you are a person, an individual and nobody has the right to dictate to you! I would suggest you first of all talk to your GP - if you haven't already done so. I really cannot imagine the trauma and confusion that you are going through having never been in such a situation myself! I feel that I want to give you such good advice but feel helpless. Sorry!

Don't take any notice of all the bigots - I am sure you are not alone in facing this dilemma - of course there are many people who have the same feelings. But where do you find them so that you can discuss all that confronts you?

Gotta love the religious answer... YOU'RE CONFUSED YOU STUPID LITTLE MAN! SEEK HELP FROM YOUR LOCAL CHURCH!... i guess some people think you're possessed by the devil and need a priest to perform an exorsism or some bull crap like that. I say just as you have probably heard a hundred times, you are who you are and i believe there is nothing you need to change to better yourself. If you do feel like you're someone else besides what you were born then that's your own personal opinion of yourself and it shouldnt matter to you what other people think. The only opinion you should listen to is that opinion you have of yourself. Love yourself for who you are not for what other people what you to be, hun. And about the gay or straight thing... who cares? love is love no matter who or what you love... Beastiality anyone? lol jk. Just be who you are and love who you are. That's the best advice i can give.

One thing - you are confused.

It sounds that you may be what is called transgendered - that is a person born as one sex (in your case male) but feels that they belong in the body of the other sex.

As you are physically male and you like girls - you would be considered straight (to the rest of the world).

Seek professional counseling when you can. You need to understand what your are going through so that you can make an educated decision as to what you will want to do as you get older. Gender reassignment (taking female hormones to grow breasts, get more feminine in body appearance etc and possibly surgery to get the male gentials removed) is a very serious step and must be considered very carefully.

probably slightly confused at the moment.I dont mean in a horrible sense. Give it all time and wait and see but don't worry about it. Wait and see how you feel, you probably may be gay but are trying to find the feminine side in you also. Do't worry and don't do anything that will cause hurt later to yourself. Take care

being transgendered and being gay are not mutually exclusive. If you identify as a female, and are attracted exclusively to males, then you would be a straight trans woman. If you identify as a woman and are exclusively attracted to men, then you might be termed a gay trans woman, or a lesbian trans woman.

If you reject notions of gender and identify as "fluid" and find your attractions are "fluid" (fluid meaning sometimes one, sometimes the other) then you may find the term "fluid omni-sexual" helpful. There are so many variations on gender and gender identity and sexual attraction that labels cease to be useful.

Hence, my motto: Define your humanity, not your sexuality.

at the moment that makes you straight. because at the moment, you may want to be a woman [and thats great, dont let anyone else tell you diiferently!] but you are a bloke at the moment, and you like women, so you are straight.

If you decide to get a sex change [which should be YOUR decision by the way] then after the change, if you still like women, then you would be considered gay, or lesbian.

You are so young. Try not to slap a label on yourself. Be yourself, do what feels natural to you, make sure you are in a safe and secure environment, and wait to see what happens, and who you turn out to be.

There is a lot of adventure in front of you, don't decide the end game already.
