Uhm, no. He pretty much slit his own throat with that comment. While I agree we should stay out of other countries "business"....he is blaming us for 9/11. He's done!

No I don't think its irresponsible on the remarks Ron Paul made. It would be irresponsible to think the United States could go into any country and do whatever they want and then never expect there will be any "blowback" by the people over there. Ron Paul wasn't letting those responsible for 9/11 off easy or saying it was right for what they were doing. He was saying our foreign policy has been having a negative effect and stirring up the pot more then anything. Also our founding fathers preached a non interventionist position and Ron Paul believes in that.

It wasn't irresponsible... consider everything he said.

In 1953 we intervened in Iran and inserted the Shah.. this had a backlash till this day. The CIA has been involved in covert operations in the Mid East for 50 years now.. Even in Afghanistan today, President Khazai...A former UNICOL executive Hamid Karzai ended up as Afghanistan’s president and the poppies have never bloomed as brightly. We're not nation building for the love of democracy.. its for the love of oil.
