watch tv or movies with ur children and give ur opinion at the right time.
i suggest u should tell the truth on sex if ur children is a teenager.

How do you PROTECT them form sex and VIOLENT contents? It depends on what medium (TV, movies, internet) they would view them on.
Some things just cannot be prevented - it is unfortunately part of life,. Violence is all around us (the wars, rapes, killings etc). The best thing to do is see that you children understand what those things are and underdtand that while it may be a part of life overall it is not something that people should accept as normal behavior.
Monitor what they watch on TV (f you TV has a V chip - activate it). Make sure they understand what they can and cannot watch (and why). The same goes for movies. You decide what they can go to the movies and see.
On the internet - make use of any parental controls you may have on your computer. Make sure oyur children understand what and why. Since you can't control what they see on someone elese computer just make sure they understand what they are seeing.

Don't buy a TV, the newspapers, radio, books or a computer.
It's everywhere these days. I don't know if children can be shielded from it. It's so sad that children are no longer as innocent as they were in my day.

keep them at home, do not have a TV, internet connection, or radio at home.
Better yet, move to an Amish community.
It is very hard to prevent exposure to something that is everywhere.

Depends on how old your kids are .. if they are under 8 they should be in bed by 8.30.
If they are watching TV then put a BAN on what they watch.
Easy .... just use your remote.

Give them yellow tinted glasses. That will protect them from any violets.

Well there is only one 100% guaranteed way to do it, you have to lock your child in a room with no windows and never let any body in.

lock em up in a room.
they're going to see those things no matter what.
just make sure it's at the right time.
talk to them and tell them about it, so they won't ask other people later on.

On some TV's, there are options to filter shows by rating. On all TV's there are V-CHIPS that allow you to block channels.

you really cant stop your child from having sex all you can do is tell to use a condom now the violent stuff i dont know about that
