I would definately have chosen to become a Vampire within a Dark moment. Listen to Blue Oyster Cult's I Love the Night. Yeah.
I still think you allow yourself to become a victim by your outlook on life. And you are a tease. A mind tease, and it still punches your ticket.
My favorite tv show was Kindred, the embraced. Julian Luna was my ... er ... Hero?

Having actually taught Dracula (the novel) several times, I can say with some authority that the character of Dracula isn't all that fantastic. Actually NONE of the characters in that book are that fantastic. If I have to choose between the generic "vampires" and the specific "Dracula," I'm going with "vampires" every time.

Hi...After watching Braums Stokers "Dracula" I fell in love with the man himself...lol. Good movie most definitely. Sad at the end though. Have a great day!

actualy if you read the book Dracula you'll see that he's portrayed as a coward and a wimp, it also says that he has the mind of a child and is afraid of the unknown.
