I would say, that if you're questioning the morality of it--it likely isn't something you feel is morally correct.

Like eating ice cream. There is no question of the morality in that and people don't look to others to assuage their conscience after (or before) doing so. (Barring folks on diets, that is ;) )

As a Christian, we're taught to understand that the Holy Ghost speaks to us, through that "instinct" or "conscience"--if yours is ringing negatively, I would say you already know the answer.

I don't think that intercourse with strangers (be they prostitutes or not) is ever really okay. I understand it, I don't judge those who DO engage in it--that's not my place--and see them as just human, like I am. (I'm certaintly not without sin!) I just happen to believe that having a deep emotional connection with a person before engaging in intercourse is just so phenomenal, that to do the act with a complete stranger isn't appealing and confuses me. But then, I've been married for over half my life, so a lot confuses me :)

Go with your gut instinct, listen to your heart, and decide what you want to live with for the rest of your life. That's usually the best way to tell if you're plan of action is moral or not.

Hope that helps.

Well, think about it. I'm sure there are some that prostitute themselves for what one would consider a semi-noble reason(feeding a child or relative or such) but the fact remains that many are forced into such a lifestyle or do so to support other negative influences(not even beginning to mention the risks and disease possibilities) SO.... by supporting prostitution you are encouraging those negative lifestyles and habits. No, it isn't a "moral" decision to make in my opinion.

well it depends if these prostitutes are legal. In some countries there are certain shops that are legal, which allow people to have sex with their "goods" for money. So unless you're going to one of these then yes i think its morally wrong. Mainly because the prostitutes that you pick up from the street are the ones that don't want to do it and have been forced into it. So please stop doing it if you are picking them up from the streets.

No, I don't think so. The EMOTIONAL bond is what makes for great sex; otherwise, it is reduced to an animal act. What kind of real gratification can you really get if it is with some stranger who is only doing you for the money???

I see you call yourself "Joy". Can we safely assume that you are a FEMALE?! Generally speaking, women do not go around paying people to have sex with them. There's too many potential partners out there willing to do it for FREE!

Do yourself a favor and find one of them, instead. Sharing something so intimate with a "pro" is risky business!!!!

That's up to the individual.

Also you should check that the prostitute is doing this of her own free will, and not because of a drug or drinking problem either.

I suggest using escorts, they have a lower risk of alcoholism or drugs, and it seems more private.

The morals are up to you though.

What is the differeence moraly having sex with a prostitute or just meeting someone and having sex. The prostitute is more apt to insist on protection.

Also Prostitutes need to earn their money just as you do so synot use their services when wanted. They are doing their job just as you are doing yours.

Well if you are being safe and not cheating and doing everything "right" I guess not, besides the fact in most states it's against the law.

I personally wouldn't pay for it myself, but different strokes for different folks.

It is never morally right to pay for sex no matter how you want to rationalize it.
