It is a complete CRAP, updates once in a millennium, scans about 1% of your hard disk, and all it catches are fascinating tracking cookies!! Get rid of it, it's just a wastage of your space. You can get much better free anti-spyware here:

Yahoo anti-spy cannot even be considered a mediocre malware removal product. Too many false positives and too infrequent updates.

Download and scan your machine with one of these GOOD anti-spyware /adware programs.

SUPERAntiSpyware:

A-Squared:

Ewido (Now called AVG Anti-Spyware) do not download AVG anti-virus.

All the above have a free edition, that's probably what you will want to download.

These scans will take a LOT longer than what you are used to with the Yahoo product. That's good; it is doing a complete scan and a full spyware check!

Right of the Search you should see your Avatar. Click and the drop down click "Add/Remove Buttons" Then on the Tabs Click "Button Gallery" and add Anti-Spy.
