I can never decide, so I have both, two dogs and one cat. Although, I think that dogs are a little bit easier to take care of because you don't have to clean up a litter box, but you do have to deal with the dog poop. The dogs are great for playing and protecting the house, and the cat is great for cuddling and petting when you're feeling down.

Personaly I love all animals. But out of all of them I would chose a cat. although I love all animals eqally, a cat somehow stads out and i like it more. you give them so little for a lot in return! most of them are quiet, and they love to snuggle up with you. they dont include manythings like a dog does,( no offence ) so you would be saving money. love the sound it makes, and its always ready to play. unless its sleeping. they can live quite long, over 15 years! well a cat is my favorite

I love all animals! I love cats because they are confident and self reliant. I love dogs on the other hand because they are loyal and loving. What the heck I think everybody should have both!

I mostly love all animals because I have many different kinds...I have a dog, 2 cats, and 2 parrots who died a few years ago...I love them all and I cannot and will not choose...Having animals has taught me that!!!!

Depends on which ones are getting on my nerves that day...today the cats were my favorite, they were very loveable & didn't knock anything off the counter, and they kept my feet warm last night!

I love both but cats win by a margin b/c they know how to use the litter box and they're neater
