Which God?
What if we discover that Stargate was right and there are a bunch of evil ancient Egyptian gods out there?
What if it's the Buddah?
What if we find Greek gods? Or Pagans? Or Allah?
Isn't it kind of close-minded to expect the Christian version of God (if any) to be there?
And another question: If humanity were to discover a supreme being out there, what impact would it have on the several hundreds of religions here on earth?
If a Christian God does exist as implied by the question, then I'd say without a doubt that he exists outside of our normal universe. A being powerful and intelligent enough to create an entire universe so large that it can barely be fathomed, full of stars, blackholes, worlds of all kinds, intelligent life and all other wonders yet to be discovered cannot possibly be some plain physical being that one can meet who occupies the very space he created. I mean, if he made the universe then where was he before?
But this strikes me as a theological question, as it has to do with god and creationism, and not so much the study of space.

I do not believe in most of what is said about "God"
However, it is clearly stated in Genesis that God created everything. Therefore, is seems logical that God would have to be outside of the universe, it being somewhat difficult to create something that you are inside of.
But I suppose it could be argued that all things are possible for God. It makes for an interesting question anyway. A case of beer and a kitchen table are called for.

No, God isn't area of the universe, for if IT have been, not something would exist yet God. there'd be no universe. area of the definition of God is to be immutable, all-powerful and endless, and the universe does not in superb condition any of those definitions. and scientifically talking, the universe isn't endless. it had a commencing up, consequently it will have an end. some scientists even speculate that the universe will quicker or later in its destiny settlement and return to a singularity (the super crunch, the different of the super bang). additionally, there is an outdoors of the universe, in any different case how would the universe be waiting to amplify? with a view to amplify, an merchandise would would desire to have area into which to amplify, and that area would by applying definition not be a area of that merchandise. some scientists even speculate that as a results of life of extra beneficial than 3 dimensions (length, width & top), there would desire to be yet another point of life wherein those different dimensions exist, in view that they're nowehere to be latest in this one. additionally, God isn't omnipresent. ITs means, understanding, authority and signs and indications are, yet not God ITself. God operates thoroughly outdoors the universe, or perhaps though IT creates (which includes the easy power you communicate of) is the two in the universe or interior of that area outdoors it.

Universe is the creation of God. He is the holy one who created everything from simple dust to giant stars.
God is present around everywhere in the universe. So god is the universe himself.

If something you call God created the universe then WHO OR WHAT MADE GOD???
Anything complex enough to create the universe must also have a creator. Where is Gods MOM???
Why does not the bible tell us about her???
Is it because sexist men edited her out?

Well,I hold a religion but yet I think that People is the one who created God,they think that way, they be that way. So in this case, as far as the science can say, there is at least 100billion of galaxies and I suppose If God is to live, he could have chosen one of them, he could even choose to live in the black hole,or any place he wants but what I believe is ,unfortunately, god is neither in one of those galaxies nor anywhere, it is somewhere in our brain, giving us clues about what is good and what is bad..probably.

The universe is a finite entity so what ever it is one day it will go out of existence and an eternal nothing will prevail.

Before this question can be properly answered, you have to define "god".
Good luck with that.
