I'm a girl
My female teacher is always looking at me and smiling. She also teases me at times, by saying no to anything i ask her then she says she's just teasing me. Once, i was walking down the hall with her, and she looked back at me the whole time with a smile on her face. But when I talk to her, she doesn't say much, but for anyone else, she'll have a long conversation. Apparently her teacher friends and even her husband know my name, even though I don't know them, because they'll be like hey ashley. What's up with her acting like that, but not wanting to talk to me?

does not sound like flirting to me. instructors will in lots of circumstances ask an identical student questions, pretty in the event that they take a seat close to the instructor or make solid grades (hoping that they are in a position to generate communicate). I had a instructor in Catholic college who could lecture and walk around the room and intensely slowly sink down an inch or 2 so as which you will be able to desire to no longer see his ft. Then he'd walk as much as a table the place a woman replaced into sitting and step on her ft and play a splash "footsie" mutually as asking somebody at the back of the class a query. It could desire to've worked as a results of fact on weekends, he'd be at frat events in khakis and docksiders and an Izod shirt (we reported as him the preppy priest) with a cigarette in one hand, a lager in the different hand, and a woman below each and each arm. Now it is flirting.

When government school teachers have worked there for a long time, they get tired of the apathetic & mediocre students.

I have seen teachers get excited when they have a student who is intelliegent and hardworking.

My guess is that Her extra attention probably comes from the potential she sees in you!

It means that she likes you. You seem to be a good student (perhaps her best), and so she is proud of you.

Contrary to popular thought, teachers do not teach for money (have you seen their paycheck?). They teach for job satisfaction. Their motivation is to see students achieve.

So, you seem to be the sort of student who makes her happy and proud. Keep it up! It's actually a good thing!

Seems like she has a crush on you. The staring and smiling is what convinces me. Does she have kids of her own?

maybe she really thinks you have potential, you know how teachers are if they have a scholar student they will brag about it. Other than that, if that isn't the case then i would switch classes and stay away from her :)
