I think when an issue is laden with emotions, then intellectual honesty goes out the window. I dont think you can be this passionate and keep the facts in mind. Emotional and factual have very little to do with each other and I think all sides are guilty of this.

Some are but I question using political ideologies and intelligent in the same sentence. Intelligent people are never so wrapped up that they cannot see the other side. Pseudo-intellects are.

i'm going to %. what's in the back of door #2 - "view the internet as an probability to proportion some guidance and study some new issues each now and then". i'm getting insulted on right here all of the time . each question . No huge deal nevertheless . they're merely showing that they are in a position to't debate logically .

Yes--but especially here at YA, where people are allowed to ask "questions" in an offensive and inflammatory way. When someone asks a question like that, the focus becomes saying something to discredit them.

I truly try to see both sides and can honestly tell you that any side that pushes socialism as the route for this country to take, will force me to stick with my ideologies.

others just choose to focus on relevant facts, instead of those facts that cannot be changed and have no relevance to today.
