Anyway it word but i got to looking at it and the fourth pin in the second row or the cord is missing on both ends (made that way). Just wondering if that's normal and if that pin is gonna effect anything. It's working great exect my 3d grafics seem to be affected and i don't know if its the monitor or the cord. The cord new is $30 for a freakin cord.

That would either be pin 9 of the connector.

Pin 9 in the original VGA specification was a polarizing pin to stop the connector being plugged in upside down (I have seen it done!)

However, today is it a 5V supply from the system to the monitor so that you can ensure that the plug and play of the monitor will work even if the monitor is turned off. (Assuming that off really is off)

Most LCDs no not really turn all the way of, so this generally is not a problem. (Look at the power switch symbol. If it is a line enclosed by a circle then it cuts all power, if it is a line breaking a circle then it just goes into standby.)

If you have just increased your resolution significantly then that may be effecting the speed of your 3D graphics.

consider different solutions. the two a form of laptops are undesirable. in case you genuinely ought to get a form of, then the Acer is superior. yet those specs are particularly undesirable for gaming. you ought to bypass to Wal-Mart and spend 500-600 dollars and get something which would be merely super for working Counter Strike and WoW...

It's normal.

What's the problem with your 3D graphics?
