You may be able to get a newer driver from the hardware manufacturer. . can i download an updated driver to solve this problem...found drivers at this website...

If it is integrated graphics, you get the driver from the motherboard maker. BUT if it is a discrete graphics card, you get the driver from the card maker. However, if your hardware is outdated (old), it may not have DirectX 9.0c support at all.

It is your video card driver, or your video card is too old and not even its newest drivers would work. What card do you have?
