A true gentleman always makes others around him feel as comfortable as possible. A gentleman treat the women in his life as ladies is not abusive in any way and does the little romantic things that almost all ladies enjoy.

This is only my opinion mind you, BUT I believe a true gentleman will respect a woman in every way. Language, doors, light her cigarette, help her out when and if needed.
BUT women have basically shut this down. THEY by demanding equal rights see less and less of men doing these things for them. And I also believe that this is happening because well if you want equal rights well you got them. Open your own door. BUT again this is only my opinion.

Doing the right thing in every situation.
As a girl, I think (theoretically) if my mum were able to see everything that a guy did without him knowing he was being watched and not be appalled!
A gentleman protects his lady's welfare, interests and reputation.
