Maybe it's the wrong time of the month or something, but you lot have made me cry a little, just with the kindness, thank you.
Larsgal, I'll take it as a compliment, thanks, but I'm in love.

I have no problem with you at all and I really like your questions and answers. I like you around in the LGBT section and you have made me smile more then once!
I am very happy to see straight people in here who have an open mindset!
For me people are people, no matter what their sexuality is.
We are all the same. If everyone who was straight was like you, we wouldn't need an LGBT section. Then it would be clear to everyone that we are all equal.
Please feel welcome!

I feel great about you asking questions here. There is nothing wrong with trying to obtain more education about a subject you either have an interest in or don't know much about. You are a good person then and aren't settling for ignorance. I'm also rather happy that you aren't condeming us and telling us it's "your pastor" or "the bible" saying we are horrible people. Those straight haters get old REALLY quick.
Take care!

As long as your questions are not bigoted, leading or of the trolling nature you will get positive responses. Sometimes it is possible for a straight person to unintentionally ask questions that tend to step on gay peoples toes, but as long as you explain you just don't understand and aren't trying to hurt people then you will be ok.
In reality you can ask questions in any section you like.

just because you aren't LGBT doesn't mean you don't have an opinion on it.
so long as the questions are oriented around LGBT, or otherwise they should be in a more appropriate forum, but that rule goes for -everyone-.
i'm atheist, but i answer stuff in the religion & Spirituality forum because i do have an opinion on religion, but i don't ask things that have nothing to do with religion in that forum, i ask them in a more appropriate place.

Well you're part of the larger sexual orientation spectrum. It's not just LGBT, it's really LGBTS, we're all connected.
So your points are as valid as any other. So feel free to answer all you like.

No problem! Only difference between us is that you happen to love people of the opposite sex while I love women...
And the keyword here is "love" all the rest are just "details"...
