can i put different amd cpu speed in a dual cpu motherboard?

i have a dual processor motherboard, it has a AMD Athlon MP 1800+ and it has an extra socket A for another cpu, can i put an extra one different speed for example an AMD Athlon MP 2000+ or more? Thanx...

Dual Athlon boards wil take two identical CPUs only, they have to be Athlon XP MP model in order to work correctly

You need two cpu that have the same speed to work.
