SEA - a very large saline lake or saline body of water that is usually connected to the ocean. It can be landlocked.

RIVER - A river is moving water that travels over continents flowing either from gravity or the land's elevation. It usually empties into another body of water.(lake, sea. gulf, ocean, another river)

CAREERS - I came across a wonderful website that is full of marine and ocean career links.
http://www.sciencecareersweb.net/OceanWeb/OceanCareer.htm
If you worked for an aquarium you could:
Aquarist

Marine Mammologist

Science Writer

These careers,
Biological Oceanographers and Marine Biologists
Chemical Oceanographers and Marine Chemists
Geological Oceanographers and Marine Geologists

can be read in detail at,

- communication system for emergency - battery operated
- life jacket - might hit rapids - safety
- big first aid kit (but also contains fishing line (very strong), hooks, matches and lighter, flares, insulated blanket etc)
- fry pan - cook, bail bucket, purify water
- warm jacket - evening might be cold, mosquitos
- rain gear - can use it to keep dry and can put it on the ground when sleeping
- knife - to eat, prepare meals, tool
- container that is packed with provisions (food & water) for emergencies.

1a) A sea is generally a large lake or a body of water connected to the ocean by only a small inlet. Refer to the Dead or Black Sea.

1b) A river is a flowing body of water that originates from a source (springs). It empties into the ocean or a sea

1c) A lake is an isolated body of water that is replenished by rain or man made means. It is rarely connected to an inlet or outlet.
