why, be yourself. If you want a nick name so badly think of one that rhymes with Jess or think of something that you like.
Why try to be the same as everyone else? Being different can be very empowering. Give it a bit of thought. Unusual people can be very popular too you know.......

The point about nicknames is that they happened naturally through something that had happened in the past, or a shortened version of the full name for example. If you want one for the sake of it, it isn't really the same. Wait until you get one naturally. You're never too old.
