I suspect thats where the phrase spoil sport comes from,why they do it,ive no idea,unless its because they're losing,i love winning yes,but i dont mind losing either,its playing the game thats important.

Usually because they have no other part of their lives where they can feel valued. I hate it too, but I usually just let it go because I think they deserve to feel good about themselves sometimes. I find if you praise them for winning instead of getting annoyed at them, they tend to shut up and enjoy the game much more ;)

People need the attention sometimes and it is often the way in which they get it.
No i take it if i lose. It just shows me where my weaknesses are and i can try better later.
