What does P A stand for after a lawyers name in the USA?

I need to know what the P A stands for after a lawyers name in the U.S. (i.e. Joe Bloggs P A). Would be grateful if anyone knows the answer.

Professional Association. You can see PA after doctors, lawyers, CPAs...when their business name is also their name.

Professional Association. It is a way of indicating that the practice is a professional corporation.
