My question is..... how do I make... "do"?

and why is he so concerned about how much "do" i make?

If your do is not do-ing it for you and he won't do anything about it you have to do what your gut tells you to do. Do your best! And I do wish you the best in all you do!

Maybe he's asking if he needs to give you a raise in order to keep you? You should read a book on negotiating to get more, "Getting to Yes."

I think your boss should be more concerned with his own "do".
Unless, of course, you left yours in the hall again? Tsk tsk. You know that's naughty!

well you're making do as is.... he's asking if you're complacent about your position, your salary, duties and so on.... if I'm even making correct sense of the question...
