If you consider that the only ones in the spotlight today are incumbent socialists, I would say it looks bad for them.
AMericans, while often lazy and/or ignorant, are not stupid, they have been lied to, and not only lied to but within the first 100 hours, which I find hilarious.
So in congress I view this as a win/win for me and AMerica, we dump some more incumbents, I just wish it were the really old ones, and we dump some socialists.
Put the WH up today and I doubt the socialists(dems) can win, who's to say what happens a year from now, as that is a long time for any of them to step on their willy and look real stupid. Expect more nastiness from and about hitlery, and slamajamaobama, well he will have enough time to make himself look real to AMericans.
On the repub side it is tough, there are so many bigots on the socialist(dem) side that it will be tough on Romney, Guiliani is going to get hit hard by the clinton propaganda team and McCain, while a patriot, will still look like McCain. The wild card, Senator Thompson, is the one the Democratic National Communists(DNC) fear the most, which makes me like him. I would like to see him run though as what he is, a moderate and an independent, not as a conservative repub.
All of the candidates have enough history of action and speech they are very easily classified on the political spectrum. I prefer the free market ones.

No, it doesn't prove anything. It is still 1 1/2 years until the election & people won't be voting for either "Congress" or George Bush when choosing the next President.

Maybe, but not necessarily. It could mean the country is seriously sick and tired of the self-serving tactics by both Republicans AND Democrats in our federal government.
Hopefully it means the people of this country will start becoming more politically aware and maybe we won't have the usually embarrassing 50-60% voter turnout in 2008.

Historically, congress always has a lower approval rating than the president, so saying it's lower now, predicts nothing.
This question does:
"Regardless of how you might plan to vote in your own district, which party would you like to see in control of Congress after the congressional elections in 2008: the Democrats or the Republicans?"
Democrats: 52%
Republicans: 36%.

obviously "the_(in)secure_American fails to realize that the Dems actually still have the majority which is enough to push their agenda right? or could it be that even most of the Dems don't agree with their kookie leaders like Pelosi.

No, the Rudy McRomney show last nite made sure that the Dems have the best shot of winning the White House.
Not all liberals support Obama, I don't.
Your sweeping over-generalizations never cease to amaze me.

Hardly.... you forget that Republicans are running for Preacher-in-chief and America has had a belly full of the conservative wing nuts seeking to creating a theocracy.
The only hope Republicans may have is to cut themselves loose from the hedge fund managers and CEO's
