Because for some reason, some women think that their "issues" are special and deserve their own department of studies at schools and their own forum at Yahoo answers.
This seems to me to be brought about by the (mostly false) concept of "patriarchy", i.e. that there's some "good old boy" network of guys who sits around smoking cigars and decides how to best suppress women and therefore makes most of the information available geared towards men.

It provides a place for sociopaths to repeatedly ask inflammatory questions and generally abuse people without consequences.
