You tell yourself that you are wonderful and capable. tell yourself there is nothing you can't do and all they have to do is ask you.... it does wonders for your mental attitude..:) be a tiny bit arrogant... it shoos away the nerves... you are just 0.5 percent better than everyone else... :) Of course you get that job, there's just no one better. simple...isn't it? I'd wish you luck, but you just don't need it...:) make sure you stand up quite straight and that bodily attitude will guide your mind along... try it right now... it'll work! But remember this: it is something you have to dó, and you need to do it whenever those nerves pop up, because it is the antidote. Treat those nerves as you would a pop-up... block the darn thing! let your mind spend it's time telling yourself good things instead of letting your fantasy tell you bad ones... :)

Everyone gets nervous before going to an interview. The best advice that I can offer is take a few breaths or listen to your favorite cd. You could also try runing the interview over with your friends. granted you arent going to have the same questions. But it is good to go over the main questions that are asked. I know in a few interviews I totally went mind blank and had nothing to say. Check out this website. It offers some advice on interviewing. Good luck with your interview.

I try to stretch out the morning as long as possible. I'll Go get some coffee, have a smoke kill so much time I end up getting bored, so bored in fact I'm waiting for time to pass. as opposed to it being a countdown.

realize the interview-er is probably just a curious and as nervous as you are...even if he/she does this a lot...after all, the interview is for you to check THEM out as much as for them to check out you...
