That can be a real nightmare, depending on where the person is in your life. Some times they don't even know they are doing it. Frustrating them back intentionally can be satisfying, but can lead to problems. One answer is to write down keep notes on their EXACT statements. Better yet let them know you are using a voice activated recorder. To show them what they are doing. Get mutual friends to back you up. So you can all sit down and in a mature fashion explain to them, their behavior is extremely annoying.

be straight foward. learn how to say NO. you can't be lenient all the time. it's like telling that person that it's ok to be fickle minded. they must learn how to make firm decisions and stick by them. if they still can't make up their mind, then they should suffer the consequences.

patience is the key to this prob. One need to help him/her out in such asituation if he is a dearly friend. But need not bear this for all.The other way out is be a bit strict & tell to first make up ur mind & then answer...

I'd ask them to kindly make up their mind, then go on my way if they didn't.
