I have been told to create a LAN with XP Clients and Linux Server with File and Print Sharing (I Have PCQLinux 2005), but without disturbing the Client's Internet connection which are already connected directly to a Broadband router and have dedicated static IP's. Is it possible and can anyone help me out over here...,

You need to install SAMBA on the linux machine and set the proper permissions on the folders on it you want to share. They will appear in the My Network Places on the XP machines when properly set.(The user can't tell what OS they are connecting to its just file storage.)

The LAN should have no affect on the WAN.. all computers connect to the server from the router - it tells what traffic should go to the LAN and what should go to the WAN/Internet.
