I think that is a common occurrence.
Men, in general, are not touchy-feely. They tend to interpret being touched by a woman as a sign of sexual interest.
When I was in massage school, we had to address the possibility of a man becoming aroused from a massage.
Men do not experience non-sexual, physical touch anywhere near the frequency of women. So, we were advised to ignore any obvious signs of arousal, unless the client were to behave inappropriately.
It seems that arousal during a massage is very common among men, as the majority of the time they have physical contact with someone it is related to sex.

Women do the same, very often.
People in general, interpret behaviour and gestures according to their own perceptions and personality. Being tactile is often misinterpreted.

I think men and women probably misinterpret the tactile actions of one another.....

hmmm, I'm a tactile woman myself. I tend to play a lot with my fingers on the skin of my beloved one, I feel him with my body and my skin is over-sensitive, I experience / feel every emotion through it... and no, I don't think all of these were ever interpreted in a bad way:)

Yes, you probably need to change the way you approach guys. They only think one way....and I don't mean with their brain. They seem to always think a woman is coming on to them.
