England has never had a woman Prime Minister. Sadly, the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom was the dreadful Thatcher.

Maggie Thatcher. More balls than any Prime Minister since. Hate pretty much everything she stood for, but immense respect for her never backing down.
She screwed Scotland over big style though. That's what happens to Scotland when the Conservatives are in power. Because they don't have many supporters north of the border and they don't give a monkeys about anyone who doesn't vote for them.
