Because so many of them use everything in their arsenal to get dangerous criminals off. Justice is certainly not based upon technicalities - the intent of justice is too bring out the truth - without truth there is no justice. I realize that an offender must have legal protection, but so many criminals get away with major crimes - and we KNOW they are guilty yet they get to walk. I thought justice was supposed to protect us.

In general, people like to make decisions based on merit. The distinction between black and white / right and wrong to what end inherently makes sense. Attorneys are rhetors. They argue issues or facts into varying shades of gray. The best attorneys successfully argue that black is white and vice versa. Did I also mention they charge you 200 dollars an hour for your involvement and confusion.

Because they push a tangled maze of legislation through, at all levels of government, then you have to hire them to navigate your way through it. The protection racket in pinstripes.

I can think of 200 reasons per hour (plus VAT) and 25 more reasons every time they write me a letter.

Most of them are arrogant *******! Mainly because they've ruined the Justice system with all their loopholes and they're too expensive
