More than the T's, the suspensions and the new ball, I think we saw a more or less balanced competition this year. This is best exemplified by the upsets of top seed Dallas and defending champ Miami in the playoffs.

1)Technicals- no big deal. Most of the time the players deserved them although some of them are ridiculous for sure.
2)Too many fouls. In the seventies there was way way harder defense. You didn't have Ginobli plunging into the lane every two seconds and then getting twenty points at the damn foul line. That's not basketball.
3)The new ball is over. I think its good that they experiment and good that they know when their experiments have failed.
4)The suspensions weren't all that bad until this recent one but this one is absolutely outrageous.
5)The playoff games- not bad but probably too many lopsided games.
Overall season and playoffs: I would give it about a seven. I think its boring the way San Antonio and the west are so dominant and these suspensions that just happened really turn me off the whole NBA because I feel that they have robbed us of the the only really really great match up of the playoffs. This was basically the finals, it was an interesting and imbalanced series with a villain and an underdog and they just ruined it.

No, whether there's a slender danger! Avery for one advance into no longer the concern.... Its workers.... Mark Cuban needs a severe scoring speedy paced team! Thats why the Mavs went after Jason Kidd to help strengthen their speedy ruin... What the Mavs actual choose is an interior presence!!! all the sturdy communities this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days that beat the mavs have a competent center (phoenix, san antonio, new orleans, utah) The Mavs make the playoff next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in the event that they commerce up some people. One get rid of the crack head in Josh Howard...2 bye bye Jerry Stackhouse (hes too old and not contributing like he needs to), and Kidd (i comprehend we in basic terms have been given him yet he's plenty previous his top and basically has one or 2 years left in the league perchance) ,,,,,,,ok so commerce up and get one factor!!!!!!!!! And that factor is an impressive DOMINANT interior PRESENCE IN a center!!!!!!! The mavs have on no account had a competent center and have they ever won a call NO! So get an interior presence (an impressive center) and that they have got a slender danger of transforming into the playoffs. yet they are stepping right into a time the place they could desire to rebuild the employer.! No, yet perchance(a slender danger) they make it.!

lots of technicals were handed out this year..... LOTS. and that was just the regular season! talk about being on a whole new level during the playoffs though. all these rule changes and whatnot have got me really turned off by the nba this season because so many fouls are being called and i have always hated it when the game stops so much. especially for stupid stuff like hand checking... come on... give me a break! stern and his boys are making these players play so soft with his damn rules and now more players are able to flop like crazy when they want to get the easy foul call. i hate that too. and dont get me started on the suspensions. i still think melo's was the worst one out of all of them. but during the playoffs... i get real ticked off when players get suspended and the league knows every single game in a series is important. come on... its the playoffs of course players are going to play hard when it comes to that title! its as if they're trying to take away the emotion in basketball... if they want that, they might as well put robots on the court.

overall, im not pleased with a lot of things but whatever... we'll see what happens with these crazy rules next year. my wish is that they'll get better refs who actually have eyes.

It's become a total mess. The Spurs are about to capitalize on their dirty play which has been tolerated by the NBA.

In the NBA, dirty play is condoned by the league, and you are rewarded for it. Look what's happened to the Suns after they've kept it clean. How many cheap shots were they expected to take before STANDING UP FOR THEMSELVES? There comes a time when you have to stand up for yourselves and your teammates, and when Nash was slammed to the floor with a vicious forearm THAT WAS IT. The league certainly isn't going to stand up for you (unless your name is the Dirty Spurs).
