PORCELAIN DOLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The monkeys ARE kinda creepy but those dolls scare me so much I have panic attacks if I'm in the room with one. I SWEAR I've seen them get flushed in hot weather, smirk at me, move their eyes, move from the position they were last in, but they never do it when anyone else is around! I've even seen one with pointy teeth. The only thing that can even approach how much they terrify me is one of those porcelain-faced clown marionettes.

I think the wind up clapping monkey has become cliched, and the porcelain doll a little less so. How about a clown doll, or clown painting in just the right lighting?

Porcelain doll is creepier. A clapping monkey incites laughter, whereas a porcelain doll sitting in a chair with moonlight striking it in the middle of the night is what horror movies are based on.

My best friend, however, will dry heave at the site of a doll.

Depending on the quality of being most life like. I have seen better porcelain dolls then clapping monkeys. The high quality doll faces, especially done on placid white, seem death like. They look like we put make-up on something already dead. Now that is creepy.

A wind up clapping monkey. After they wind down and I think they are done, they always clap a few more times and creep me out! Just like my computer printer at home. Hours after I'm done printing and have turned it off, it makes a noise like it is about to print, but doesn't AND IT IS TURNED OFF, NO LIGHT ON THE POWER BUTTON!!! Very creepy, especially in the middle of the night!

I have several porcelain dolls.I think a wind up clapping monkey is creepy,especially if it starts clapping in the middle of the night.lol
