just because you catch a hint of cig smoke in the air,
why do you want to force laws onto me. I never forced any laws on you.

a fart is an product of your body breaking down food in your intestines. (its p00 air)

That is close to you spitting on me,

so poo and smokes are not the same.

poo

smokes

2 totally different things ---- not alike.

ok. maybe they both stink, but like I said theres not a law against farting in a public place.

ok ok. I asked the wrong question.

I see people really get worked up about this.

I do respect the fact it stinks and you never asked for me to blow smoke in your lungs.
(when I do smoke in public its in a pool hall/bar, everyone smokes in there)

but why make a law that could possibly effect my life adversly (fines, criminal record) when I have no intent to harm/offend when all we have to do is make a seperate room to smoke in.

You are absolutely right, In fact smokers are great for the economy.

You see you will die seven years before the average non- smoker. This means you will never get to use all of your social security and other funds that will be set aside for you, which means more for us!

Also, thanks for all of the additional tax income you contribute!

I don't think "p00 air" (rofles! You've made my day.) is known to cause cancer.

It also doesn't get into peoples hair and clothes and make them stink all day...

Meh, if cigarettes are legal... and alcohol is legal... logically maryjane should be legal as well...

I'm not sure if I would feel right trying to ban cigarettes or not. I used to smoke and get pissed off about that all the time... but now I realize thats dangerous and the cigarette companies make them more and more addictive year after year... and suddenly everything about them disgusts me. Those companies don't deserve my money and they don't need to be getting paid to make people more and more addicted and more and more sick... it makes me so mad!

But then again if you smoke you know what you're doing... but so does everyone else... and a lot of those people want no part of anyone else's unfiltered second hand smoke... can't really blame them.

Second hand cigarette smoke can kill faster than first hand smoke. If you want to die of lung disease it is ok with me, but don't force it on me. I don't force anything on you. A fart, a belch a cough (most of the time) are all harmless. The no smoking law should be forced upon smokers because they are jeopardizing the health of others.

Actually, some towns have ordinances against farting in public.

Look it up.

And I don't like the smell of cig smoke. I avoid smokers at all costs. I hold my breath if we cross paths.

I get pissed when people light up in places that I can't escape from...that's what really angers me. Example: ski lift line. We are stuck...no escape. And it is nasty.

Anyway smoking is reali bad for our health. Think of long term of this bad investment to one's health.it's reali not worth it.

It stinks.

It's toxic, and it's getting in my lungs.

When it's not affecting me, smoke all you want in your house, which stinks by the way. You might not notice it, but everyone else who enters does, whether they are nice enough to ignore it or not say something to you, or not.

No, but you force your smoke on me. You are allowed all your freedoms until they infringe upon somebody else. I'm not willing to risk my health so that you can smoke in public. If you want to smoke, do it in your home.

If your cigarettes did not emit unpleasent fumes and smoke that contain carcinogens, no one would care.

But, as things are, cigarettes do exactly that. And since air is public property - we all have to use it - you don't have unlimited rights to its use.

No, you're right. It's nothing like a fart at all. Breathing in a fart doesn't kill your lungs or give you cancer.
