Seen the answer somewhere, but I am too tired to look it up in my reference books.
I remember the most isolated object was a palm tree in the middle of a desert, and the nearest 'structure' was over a thousand miles away.
The Guinness Book of Records entered this year after year without thought. One day, someone was driving that way, and found a French truck driver and knocked it down !
