there is one in Africa, it looks amazing!

The magnificent Okavango Delta is the largest oasis in the world, a singular ecosystem covering about 8,500 square miles. It fans out across the north western corner of the country and creates a paradise of islands and crystal clear lagoons, teeming with birds and wildlife.

Seen the answer somewhere, but I am too tired to look it up in my reference books.

I remember the most isolated object was a palm tree in the middle of a desert, and the nearest 'structure' was over a thousand miles away.

The Guinness Book of Records entered this year after year without thought. One day, someone was driving that way, and found a French truck driver and knocked it down !
