I was just thinking about that today. Mark Teixeira and Michael Young both look lost at the plate. Thank God for Sammy Sosa or the Rangers wouldn't be scoring any runs.

They do this every year at the begining. The reason is because their large offensive number can be attributited to the way the park is set up. When texas heats up in the summer months the stadium creates a vacum that lifts the balls. Wait, the next few weeks they will get very hot and start crushing the ball as the weather gets hotter

Every team goes through periods when they are not hitting and not scoring runs. They have a solid team with the ability to score a lot of runs. I don't believe you will be having a need to ask this question by season end.

They aren't the mashers they were a few years ago, but its still a decent enough lineup. Tex and Young just happened to slump at the same time which makes them look that much worse. If you look at the infield its still pretty good with Kinsler and Blalock joining the other two guy. The outfield is a mess outside of Lofton, but the lineup is still pretty solid. They'll be ok, just give it some time to work itself out.

They just beat the Yankees 14-2 the other day.... How many runs do you want them to score?
