I think it's great! I always liked the name Jasper, for a son, if I had one. But I knew one in high school, and he was MEAN! He picked on me...So for a puppy, it's great! I'll have to name my first son something else...

yes.... jasper is a very fine name for a puppy....... on that subject i once knew a woman called jasper....... yes strange name for a woman i guess......and then she moved and i didnt see jasper for several years.... one day i was at a wedding reception and a voice as deep as thunder said
'Hi Sharky'
(well actually it said my real name , you know the one that must never be spoken in public) ...
i was like, 'Hi'
realised i didn't know him .......then i walked off........ anyway, again i heard the deep voice.....
'you don't know me do you.......?'.....
i looked at this muscular, Tattoo'd, hairy faced guy and said
'no , sorry i don't think i do'
'its me Jasper' Said the guy
I was like

When I read your question, the only dog that came to mind was the dog off Dukes of Hazzard...Roscoe's dog. Anyways...yes, I think Jasper will make a nice name. =)

i acutally had a dog named jasper when i was younger and he was my favorite dog of all time.he was a lab mixed with a terrier. so he was kinda small.i think thats a really cute name for a puppy.... congrats!
