No one´s destined for any side, everyone has the right to make their own choices, be it to join the dark side or not. But i can say that we who question seem to have it harder, not only because of the constant questiong that lingers in our minds but also because sometimes you´re just supposed to not question. Or at least thats how it is for me.

I am for certain, there will always be in a sense, things we are left with no exact or satisfactory answer, how ever it is healthy to have questions...
Anyone who doesn't would be ignorant and even gullible to be led with out any proof... IN contrast, I feel it is this that is the dark side...
I for one question almost everything...
And I am so not perfect, but I do know what forgiveness means...

We are only destined for the dark side if we already know that our answers are there.....

Is this a serious question?...or are you just playing around?
Do you believe in good and evil? Anybody with sense does...it is obvious all around you. Right? So I assume the "dark side" you are referring to is the evil one....Satan's realm....and it isn't in seeking for answers that will get you there...it is by not finding the answers and settling for the "status quo"...or where you are at right now.
How do I know? Because God spells it out for you... to pay attention to and He is very clear...."He that has the Son (that's His Son) has Life(that's not the dark side....that's eternal Life)...."but he who has not the Son, shall not see Life and the wrath of God (that will be the dark side) abides with him already....in other words...you already have it!
You see...God provided a way to save you from all eternity in "the dark side"...or hell....thru His Son, Jesus...Who came to earth just to die for you (and anyone else who was lost)...so that you wouldn't have to go there. All you have to do is pay attention to what He says..."He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him (the Son, Jesus) will be saved." Then He who has the Son, has Life!"
It is really very simple....so simple, people miss it. They think "what do I have to do to be saved?" The answer is nothing yourself...you can't earn it, you can't pay for it, all you can do is accept God's gift to you....His Son...Who died in your place.
It is so simple, a child can believe. But so hard for proud, arrogant, self-assured people to do.....they think"I'm not so bad....I can save myself!"...Not so....because God says differently. Get a Bible....read John 3;16, 17, 18., John 14:6...and others. When you see ...then say "Jesus...I need you to save me....and He will! You see He also rose from the dead, and is in heaven right now...will hear your prayer.
God is awesome and amazing when He comes into your life...and saves you....You then become His child, in His family....and He never leaves you. Then you don't have to worry about the "dark side". You are saved forever!
Check it out!

Yin and Yang. Dark is energy taking a break. Dark turning to light is much more inspirational than light fading, fading, gone. By all means question. Nothing sadder than lemmings taking the plunge.

well like the incredible Mike Brady once said "Where ever you go there you are", every ones destination was already chosen very long ago, some people are just slow starters on their true path.
and yeah those who question tend to end up there

Not at all. Asking questions gets your answers which is light rather than darkness.

apparently i'm not interpreting your question the same way that everyone else is doing. i really don't see this as "joining the dark side". historically, anyone who questioned the norm was cast out of society, shunned or even killed. they were cast out of the light and into the darkness of shame, persecution and reticule.
