I'd say I'm pretty close to both my mother & father. I think we've grown closer in recent years.

I only had my parents for a short time in my life. Both of them, in their ways, taught me many lessons that when I'm alone or quiet still echo in my ears. As for closeness, I would have to choose both of them because they were one and the same. I got my love of nature, of animals, passion for life, faith from my mother. I got strength, courage, conviction from my father. I can't choose one without the other.

I think it's safe to say I'm closer to my mother. I've never met my "father."

My mom and my grandma, I never actually knew my father. So I never got the chance to be a daddy's girl.

I was closer to my mother by far. Since they are both deceased I guess the time for mending fences is long past.

I'd say I was closest to my mother, then grandparents (on mother's side), oldest sister, then father.

I am a orphan . . . . the only family member I remember was my father - and I have no fond memories of him.
