what kind of on board graphics does a 975x chiset has?

it has no onboard graphics.

add your own graphics card of nvidia or ati (you can add 2 or 3 depending on no. of PCI express x16 slots)

NONE for the i975x chipset. There is also NO i975 variant w/ integrated graphics.
