What is the difference between Nazi Germany and Bush's foreign policies?

I don't see any.

It's clear to me now that when Canadians say that Americans do not view their history and foreign policy the way that we do, they are right. My college professor likened to going back to 'the dark ages of oppression for women and minorities' and 'a neo-Christian fundamentalist society'. In Canada, the emphasis on separation of church and state is very strongly held up. It is not allowed in public institutions, period. Most people agree that foreign policy should be based on self-defence and even now, peacekeeping measures should only be undertaken with U.N./N.A.T.O. approval and only in extreme circumstances. The war in Afghanistan is very unpopular and people support a homeland for Palestinians.

Apparently history lessons weren't good to you. What about the Bush administrations foreign policies remind of you Nazi Germany? There is no united front believing that there should be a systemic erasure of certain populations. If anything, the population of the country is more ambivalent about the US occupation of the Middle East than Nazi Germany was about it invading neighboring countries and committing genocide. There was major population support due to HItler being charismatic. That does not exist with Bush.

But if we're speaking strictly on policies, then the biggest difference would be that Nazi Germany focused on developing a country that would focus on its race while annexing neighboring countries due to their belief that they superior. If anything the US has not exhibited anything related to that belief since the thought of Manifest Destiny, but that's a whole other story which can be talked about at a different time.

If you still don't see a clear difference between Nazi Germany and present day administration, perhaps a textbook or wikipedia might be able to help.

And thanks to Carter this is why Islam is on the rise today not do to Bush even though he will not deal with his promise to get Turkey to own up to what they did to the Armenians. This and the fact that he is trying to work a deal to give amnesty to illegal aliens. How ever with these great short comings they will never rise to level of Carter being the worst in the history of the US.

Bush doesn't want to exterminate an entire race of people.
Bush spends billions of his countries money to help rebuild the country(countries) we're attacking
Bush is bound by a congressional law and the law of his people (if we "Americans" truly want to get rid of him, we can at anytime without having to over throw him militarily

Those are just a few. I understand a lot of people hate the America and the Bush administration, but be honest with yourself, look at history and be realistic before you start saying stupid things please. I'm not real happy with whats going on right now either but I at least have enough forsight and understanding to look at things logically and not emotionally.

Hitler's Nazis as well as any other Communist they murdered anyone whom disagreed with them. Bush does not.
Hitler started WWII to rule the world. Bush did not start this war. The Islamic terrorist did. They declared war on back in 93 but Clinton ignored them. Clinton even ran from them.
Hitler hated the Jewish people. Bush does not.
Hitler wanted to control everything he also wanted everything and would kill anyone who got in his way. Bush don't want everything nor does he want to kill everyone.
