why do i have a green block show up on my computer.sometimes it does it on its on sometimes it shows up in my video

a poorly encoded video.
update the codec or try a different video player

Check your monitor on someone elses computer. If the green block is gone then you know it is not your monitor. If that is the case follow the other advice, trying a different or new video card.

UR video card is damaged, or try formating the computer or exchange with a new screen Monitor
