1) Global warming is not caused by man.
2) Environmentalist has caused more problems than they have fixed; IE gas prices.
3) Environmentalist for the most part don't know what they are talking about; IE the pipe line in Alaska.
4) There are more trees in the U.S. than there were four hundred years ago. Even before the white man came over.
5) Carbon dioxide is not a greenhouse gas. because plants breath in carbon dioxide and breaths out oxygen.
6) Look we all breath the same air drink the same water so what since would it be for us to poison it?
7)The free market can do allot of things better that the Federal government could ever think of doing. Besides what has the Democrats done for the environment. Al Gore tells everyone that they need to save the planet by using less fossil fuels; while he is travel around on a private jet that burn more fuel in a hundred miles than any SUV that is driven a thousand miles.

And run all of those jobs off to China? You think they're going to set and maintain environmental standards?!? The price of gasoline has gone up considerably, so more cars are off the roads. In a way the Republican Party is saving the environment.

I think that we all have a responsibility to contact our political leaders, national, state and local and inform them of our concern. This in not a political party problem, it is yours/mine and everyone's. Better to act now then get concerned about one party or another. This should get everyone's attention.
Write a letter, make a phone call, do something today.

I'm a conservative. I support ENERGY INDEPENDENCE!
We MUST wean ourselves off mid-east oil.
I also support Detroit manufacturing cars that get 50 miles to the gallon, alternative fuel research, a ban on exotic hardwood imports (Rain Forest, etc). Many environmental things.
But I support American jobs, and our economy, first. So we have to carefully weigh our hearts against the American pocket book.

We shouldn't, because we don't have to. Businesses who don't make environmental changes voluntarily will sink their own ship.
