I think the polls show that Rudy would win

That's an interesting question. I would suspect Hillary for several reasons, but that one's hard to call. Hillary took 67% of the vote in the Senate race and she captured the votes of most Republicans in Upper State New York. Rudy is going to take a lot of flack and a lot of bad publicity over 9/11 if he's nominated. There has been a lot of criticism over how he handled many things during 9/11, especially from the firefighters in NYC. They'll be campaigning hard against him and who doesn't respect the opinion of firefighters, especially NYC firefighters who were on the front lines on 9/11.

We'll get a better idea in the primaries though, if nothing else it will be interesting.

Hillary . .. NY does not love Rudy . . . the only thing he did on sept 11th is umm NOTHING!! It was the policeman and firefighters and National Guard. How dare he try to win an election off the actions of COURAGEOUS men and women!

Rudy is loved in NYC but the rest of the state hates him. I doubt he would even campaign north of NYC. It would be close though as many in NY are just completly against repubs and i think Bush's legacy will hold strong here.

The votes would probably be even in the New York for Hillary Clinton or Rudolph Giuliani because they have their own spheres of influence.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win between Clinton and Giuliani.
