Superman 2 Batman Beyond Return of the Joker Green Latern : Emerald Nights Worth a mention, because those are the only 3 I can think of. Captain America : The First Avenger; I thought I would hate it like every other superhero movie that has come out recently, but I actually liked it. Also there is that Hulk cartoon. Planet Hulk? That wasn't bad.

My vote is for "Heavy Metal" (animated)
and live action I'd have to say "Vanilla Sky"
Actually one is trippier and falls under both catagories. Pink Floyd's "The Wall". That's mess up..... but good.

Live action...Altered States with Blair Brown and William Hurt.
Hands down.
Animation...? I have to think about it.
Maybe 'Kaena' or Ergo Proxy...

Well live action would either be Trainspotting or Requiem for a Dream in my opinion.As for animated I don't really watch that many.
