My doctor has always told me that those test can give a false negative but never a false positive. Even if its faint it should still be right. But if in doubt either go to your local health dept/clinic (you usually can do so without an appointment) and get a test, or if you can wait call the doc and make an apt to be absolutely sure.

Make a dr. appointment now. Any minor emergancy clinic will take walk-ins. Pregnacy tests are tools designed to assist doctor's in giving women an easily accesible and time saving way to aid them with the earliest possible detection of pregnancy. This is to seek medical advice and take a blood test. Not to solel be the sole verdict of pregnancy. Because only a blood test can tell you absolutely if pregnant or not it would never wise to solely rely on a PT. Don't take the im sure it'll be fine and wait. No matter what your decision for an actual pregnancy it's extremely imparitive to find out asap. Even if abortion would be your decision it is just as important. With any unhealthy living and/or your b odies make major health issues can arise even in 1st trimester. Good luck

Happened to me twice! The first time, I called the manufacturer and they said if you can hold the test at an arms length away and still see the faint line, it is positive! The second time for me, the blood test at my midwifes office came out negative and I had to wait another week, even though I knew I was pregnant! Congratulations!

Pregnancy tests are not always that reliable. Some have been known to give both false positive and negative tests. If you really want to know for certain, go to your gyno for a test. They use different methods.

In MY personal experience and as a woman who has taken MANY of those tests...the ONLY way that "little line" shows up is if HCB (the pregnancy horemone) is present. I have NEVER heard of a false positive with these advanced tests...so, for what it's worth-congrats Momma!

If the pregnancy tests are contradicting then go get it done at a doctors. A blood test will show the correct result.

That happened to me once and it turned out that I was pregnant with my second child. Perhaps you're just not very far along and that's why your body isn't producing enough of the HcG hormone to make the test come up positive quickly.

Perhaps you should go in and be tested so you can quit wasting money on the tests. But it sounds like it is probably positive.

Go see a doctor. Maybe that test is messed up or you got a box of bad tests.
