Creation! & evolution to an extent. Where did the first organism come from? It had to be created! There is no other explanation than God.

If you believe in creation and evolution, that would disagree with the word of God. You can read about creation in Genesis, the first book of the Bible. God created man on the 6th day.
All creation points to a Designer---That Designer is God. The Bible is very credible.
Think about this: there is not enough evidence at all to support macroevolution which means an organism can transform over eons of time into a completely different kind of organism. ----no real proven transitional fossils found. ----all questionable. Macroevolution is an unconfirmed HYPOTHESIS. And Darwin did not know about genetics yet. Look into it.
Note: Microevolution is the theory that natural selection can over time, take an organism and transform it into a more specialized SPECIES of that organism. Much evidence to support this.
God built in the genetic code of creatures the ability to change to adapt in order to survive.

I am a creationist but I do believe in a form of evolution. The form of evolution that I believe in is what I call micro-evolution. that is where every thing evolved form its own kind. A dog has always been a dog and always be a dog. there are many kind of dogs but they are always will be a dog. On a the isle of Shetland it is hostile envelopment where the animal grow smaller to survive. This the only form of evolution that can be proved. Also if evolution was in deed factual why haven't there been new animals come into existent in the last 2000 years.

I believe in Creation AND Evolution. I've never understood why it had to be an either/or debate. I learned a new phrase today in my Six Sigma class that I love. It is "The Genius of the AND". That perfectly describes it. Why is it not possible that God Created the world using Evolution??? Why does one have to be correct and the other incorrect???

I kind of believe in both, but there seems to be more belief in evolution. It seems just to be in Georgia, more specifically in Cobb County ( where I currently live), that there is a dividing line between Religion and Science; however, most do not realize that a Monk developed the theory of "The Big Bang"

Did you ever wonder why lions and a pet cat look very similar to each other? Or why the Dodo bird was flightless, seemingly just waiting for man to come to their island and hunt them to extinction?
It is ignorance to accept that these things were just put there.
Evolution is the only theory which explains the differences and similarities between all species of life on Earth. It is one of the most robust, yet elegant, theories to be put forward.
It is supported by many branches of science, in fact, I cannot think of a branch of science which can be used to reject it. The main objections to it are faith based and are not scientific. People seem to be insulted that they can be related to other forms of life. Why? Because then it would challenge their beliefs that they were created in God's image, rather than having an ape-like ancestor as a template for humankind. It is this arrogance which keeps some people from accepting evidence.
Science may not be able to explain every step of every stage of every animal, and this is seen by creationists as proof that evolution is incorrect. Darwin never claimed to have all the answers, neither do scientists today make that claim, but the theory of evolution is too compelling and logical to be simply dismissed just because it carries the tag of "Theory". There are many current examples of the theory at work, including bacterial resistance to medication, locust resistance to pesticides etc.
Just for your interest - this is the official Catholic view of evolution :
Pope Pius XII declared that "the teaching authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions . . . take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter—[but] the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God"
Source(s):
(Pius XII, Humani Generis 36). Anno Domini1950
It was endorsed by Pope John Paul II, a few years ago, with this statement:
"Today, almost half a century after the publication of the encyclical, new knowledge has led to the recognition of the theory of evolution as more than a hypothesis. It is indeed remarkable that this theory has been progressively accepted by researchers, following a series of discoveries in various fields of knowledge. The convergence, neither sought nor fabricated, of the results of work that was conducted independently is in itself a significant argument in favor of this theory."
So, as a Catholic, I can believe in both. There is no debate. Clearly it would be less destructive if Creationists stick to souls and Evolutionists stick with bodies. Then we will never clash.

One side could be totally wrong. Evolution by natural selection is a theory that has mountains of evidence supporting it. Creationism has not a scintilla of evidence in support of it. It does not matter what I, or anyone believes, as the truth does not care about your beliefs and the truth is true, regardless of what you believe.

I believe in both actually. I believe that God created us, the animals, the sun and stars, the heaven and earth, the land and water. However, I do believe that over time, animals and man have evolved to better themselves in the environment in which they lived. Studys have even proven this-how a type of bird evolved its beak for the type of food that had to be eaten. If you are asking, however, if I believe in man evolving from monkeys, my answer is no. God created animals, then man. Last time I checked a monkey was an animal.

Life was created, species evolved. Life had to have been created, not necessarily by God (whoever that may be) but created by something, whether it be a birth of gases, electricity, carbon, silicon, and protein, or maybe just some alien's version of a cocktail on a Friday night (with one hell of a hangover!!!) Just my opinion, no offence intended to anyone!

Well I am like most people I believe sometimes I think there is a god but then I look at the world and wonder why is it like this. I think that maybe man has made up this whole story in order to believe in something. Look at holidays, all man made ideas so what is not to say the bible and god are man made ideas just to have something?
